Senior Corporate Accountant

Viking Partners Management, Inc. is a private equity real estate firm that owns and operates a portfolio of real estate assets including office and mixed use with an emphasis on retail. Our properties are located throughout the Midwest and Southeast United States. We specialize in acquiring well-located commercial properties with strong value add potential. Through our leasing expertise and property management platform we are able to increase asset value to create attractive returns for our investors. 

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant with strong general accounting experience. This role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.


  • Perform accounting for management company, holding entities and certain properties
  • Prepare consolidated reporting for all entities and funds
  • Assist CFO with payroll, benefits, 401k and other HR responsibilities
  • Provide support for completion of annual audits and tax returns
  • Assist Director of Investor Relations and Reporting with maintaining investor portal, capital calls, distributions and communications
  • Assist with developing and documenting processes and controls
  • Perform financial analysis
  • Prepare proformas to support decision making and assist with special projects
  • Interact and provide support to other business areas (Asset Management, Property Management, etc.) as it relates to assigned properties

Skill/Knowledge Required:

  • Four (4) year college degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ year work experience in industry or public accounting, real estate experience preferred
  • Experience with MRI system preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization
  • Ability to work effectively under multiple, and often changing priorities
